Purpose of the role
The purpose of the role is to manage, review and assess all warranty claims and/or pre-approval requests according to National Sales Company policies, current technical procedures and daily workload.
Duties and Responsibilities
They’ll be responsible of:
- warranty claims’ assessment according to warranty policies and procedures;
- claims’ check in terms of compliance, integrity and consistency as well as allocation’s correctness into the appropriate channels;
- verifying claims’ coding accuracy;
- ensuring that repairs carried out are compliant with customer reported faults and performed in accordance with the brand technical standards, spare parts, pricing, and labor timings.
Using their own technical experience and initiative, they’ll satisfactorily resolve dealer and workshop enquiries utilising e-mail and telephone communication, corresponding professionally and proficiently with dealers and Brand Management, regarding the clarification and justification of claim evaluations and amendments.
They’ll communicate to and update the Team Leader and the Senior Warranty Specialist about Dealership behaviors and deficiencies, pointing out any technical and procedure default, and they’ll cooperate with them proactively suggesting recovery actions and possible solutions.
Qualifications and Experiences
The ideal candidate has an Engineering Degree, Diploma or Accredited Vehicle Technical Qualifications and at least 1 year of experience either in Warranty Project or in Workshop or Technical Automotive activities.
